I have a problem at College I am stuck on...can anyone help please...?

The sum of the moments and the sum of the forces of your diagram have to be zero. Use this to calculate the loads in your welds.

Look up the mechanical properties of your wire (www.esab.com). The weld symbols tell you your leg lengths on the weld, the other dims give you the length. Force divided by area is stress, so use your factor of safety and cut the allowable stress for the weld wire in half.

Then you can solve for F.
