i dont think you ever do, whether they have died or just moved on, they will always be on your mind, it just gets easier....you will make new friends am sure...good luck

if your a guy...you can't

unless you move away and come back 10 years later, famous and humble.

But they're normally taken by then and over it anyway. Just be yourself. Stop waiting to try and cross that line. Girls know in 30 sec. and that doesn't change often. I'd just move on.
