You won't get any disease from keeping yourself clean.

Some people need to shower twice a day. If you need to, there's no harm.

You won't catch a disease, unless you're barefoot in a gym shower, there you need shower shoes to prevent fungal infections. You may have some problems with over dry skin, that can be painful and unpleasant due to drying and cracking that can bring.Every time you go outside, you bring stuff home on your skin,in warmer seasons its even more contaminates etc.Good hygiene habits will keep you healthy, and less likely to have the common bacterial and viral infection's that also effect persons living with you. Take care. SW RNP

no its not.however the same is true if u dont wash 4 a week.the difference is one person will have a squeaky clean smell and dry skin, the other will age slower and stink of b.o.deseases r not entering the dermis unless the substance used is contaminated.eg water with cholera, bilharzia.washing away oils from the body will cause itchy skin.its a bit like asking if a lifeguard should only get in the sea once a day.
