They say it is because we have an unlimited package and they do not detail calls unless you pay A LOT of money for the package that has calls paid by the minute.
The only way we can get phone records from them is if it is court ordered.
Anyone else think this is bad or is just me?

I used to have the same plan you have and damn it if they would never give me phone records you are paying them for a phone you have that RIGHT by law to get that information. Now what I did was I got online Verizon.com and set up my account to see my detailed phone records I even printed them as well. You dont need a court order to do this at all. I had to play around with the site a bit to find out all I could on what I can and cant change with my account. I also found Verizon a bad company to go through for a cell phone my phone got shut off after every on-time payment and it took days to get it back on. I was able to have my service terminated cause they kept doing this to my phones(my husband had one for work as well) So what you can do is go online set up a account have your bill infront of you so you can make the account its free for anyone who had any type of service with them. Here is the site you will need to do this on.

Verizon Wireless used to charge just $2.99 per line for "detailed billing" which showed all incoming and outgoing calls, date and time of the call, length of the call, etc. If you don't have detailed billing as part of your plan, you can go to verizonwireless.com and sign up (for free) to manage your account online. You can access up to six months of previous statements ( which DO show all calls, regardless of your billing plan), which you can print out and/or save to your computer as a PDF file. If a Verizon rep gave you the info you outlined in your post, he/she was very misinformed. If you got that person's name, you should call their supervisor to complain. If you handle the complaint properly (calmly state facts, point out what info was incorrect, and what you expect them to do about it, like giving you detailed billing for six months at no charge?), you should get what you want. Good luck! :)

Your phone records are listed on your phone bill (for local toll and long distance). Local calls, they do not record.see if a lawyer can get it for you,,as some lawyers might not charge you,,

I requested something similar from MCI, and they referred me to my bills.
