Only if the flirting is with the intent to cheat. I work in retail where flirting is almost necessary to sell these people what I want them to buy so its not cheating for me. But if you have intenetions of using it wo get something else, then yes it could be considered just that.

I don't think flirting is ever considered cheating, but it can be hurtful and disrespectful. It really depends on the feelings of the person you're with. My husband is a huge flirt, but I'm completely secure in my relationship with him and it doesn't bother me. If it ever does, he's very considerate and stops immediately. It's really something you have to discuss with the other person.

It is the first stage of cheating, yes...

In some relationships, your significant other won't really care if you do this, in others, they will...

A guy who doesn't care that you flirt with other guys is probably cheating on you, or will dump you the instant a better opportunity comes his way, so watch out if you're looking for that.

A guy who does care that you flirt with other guys probably really cares about you. Of course, if you want to flirt with other guys, maybe you should both consider your relationship a little in trouble and BOTH of you take steps to become more interested in it.

If you want to flirt with me, just send me an IM. ;).

It depends on what your intentions are with the flirting. If you are looking to get the other person to like you, then yes it is cheating. If you are just looking for a lift of your spirits and nothing further, then no.

Would you flirt with someone else in front of your significant other?
If not, than yes... it could be considered a form of cheating.

I DON'T THINK SO. BUT MY HUSBAND DOES. I AM VERY FRIENDLY AND FLIRTATIOUS........AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT ATTRACTED MY HUSBAND IN THE FIRST PLACE. BUT I SUPPOSE THAT HE WORRIES A LITTLE BIT THAT I MIGHT GO OVERBOARD AT SOME POINT. (HE IS A TAD BIT JEALOUS/INSECURE). BUT I KNOW MY BOUNDARIES.

AS FAR AS HE IS CONCERNED THOUGH, I AM NOT A JEALOUS WOMAN IN THE LEAST, AND IT WOULD TAKE A LOT MORE THAN FLIRTING ON HIS PART TO GET ME RILED UP. I DON'T GO AROUND WEARING BLINDERS, MIND YOU....I'M NOT STUPID....BUT I DO TRUST MY HUSBAND. AND I BELIEVE THAT FLIRTING IS HUMAN NATURE AND A NATURAL OCCURRENCE.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

No, unless in your heart you are doing it on purpose to attract someone. I am a flirt but that is just me, nothing is ever meant or implied in my flirting. Just make sure your significat other knows you well enough not to read anything into your flirting.

NO!!! That is crazy you can flirt all you want, just not in front of them. And make sure it is jut for fun, if you are flirting to get ahead in other areas with them then you should not be in a relationship. but if it is just harmless fun then it's fine.

One thing to think about is; would it make you mad if they did it?

Flirting is what leads to cheating. It's really a trust issue and varies from couple to couple.
