Every form of fighting exept street fighting is a martial art.
Ultimate fighting is known as MMA(Mixed Martial Arts) where anything goes.
The best fighter in the Ultimate fighting championship is Chuck Liddell.
I dont really like UFC I prefer boxing.
The best pound for pound boxer at the moment is Floyyd Mayweather Jr in my opinion.
The greatest martial artist ever is Bruce Lee(Kung Fu), Some other good ones are Chuck Norris(Karate), Jackie Chan(Kung Fu) Jean Claude Van Damme(Kick Boxing).
As somebody mentioned watch enter the Dragon for some classic martial arts.

lol at your Rickson Gracie comments, when was his last fight?
about 7 years ago or summat? with most of his wins from 1995, it doesnt make you a good fighter if you win 11 fights over a decade ago and then stop fighting to make your family name look good.
If I were you Rock I would go and research some half decent fighters on the scene at the moment and stop living in the past.

the best out there now is rickson gracie period . all the other fighters listed have lost at some point . can anybody name the fighter that has beat rickson in the ring or in the street. he is a machine . and whoever mentioned van damme we are not talking about movie fights. the only thing ha can beat up are his lines
