The chances of winning the lottery are completely the same for people who choose their own numbers and those who buy quick picks - extremely, extremely low. Your chances are 1 out of millions of winning, depending on the amount of numbers to choose from. For instance, if you pick numbers 1-39 for six numbers, then the chances of winning are 1 out of (39x38x37x36x35x34) (you do the math). There is no advantage to picking the numbers either way.

The odds are the same. Every possible combination of numbers has the same chance. The only way to improve your odds is by buying more tickets.

I do both and I've not won. So it up to luck and the odds of winning are just that. You have the same odds if you pic or ez pic.
