I know about Homesite and Frontpage, but is there anything else?

On a Mac you have Iweb which is insanely easy to use and even easier to publish. It's really a very great tool. A huge improvement over homesite and frontpage.
If you're on a PC, the best is probably Flash and Dreamweaver, but they are insanely difficult to use.

Although I use the old school notepad,I have heard that macromedia dreamweaver was a simple one to learn

Dreamweaver is the industry standard for professionals.

{office} windows publisher it is easy to learn how to use it.
