Yup. Use Dawn dish soap. It kills the fleas right away. And it isn't too harsh for puppies skin.

You don't want to use Flea Shampoo on a puppy because it is not good for them. It can get into their blood stream and seriously harm them. SO good thinking on that part!

Also, try getting some of those bug bombs or flea bombs that Emu not Emo was talking about. Make sure to read the instructions on the can. Most of them say that you cannot go in the house until 4 hours after you set it off. It will kill the fleas and any other bugs you might have issues with. If you have any other pets in the house(including the pups), make sure you take them outside while you set off the bug bombs. They can be seriously poisoned by it and that's not good at all.

There is no home remedy. Get frontline. It can be used on pups as young as 8 weeks. All a bath does is get them off for the moment. They will continue to get fleas. With frontline they will stay off. If they are heavily infested get a capstar pill from your local vet for $5. It will kill every flea for twenty four hours. this will give the frontline a good starter boost. Remember that too many fleas can kill a small puppy by causing flea enemia so please get them treat with the proper stuff. Don't use hartz from walmart either, too many problems with the product and some pets have died from seizures caused by it.

Any shampoo will suffocate fleas. I use baby shampoo on the heads of my dogs (tearless) and it would be fine for puppies. Just try to leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing. However, they will still get more fleas if you don't treat your yard and home. If you can get the dogs out of the home, you can use Borax (in the laundry aisle) for the carpet and upholstery, just leave on for about 4 hours, or all day if you can, and then vacuum. The yard is harder, but have heard that Dawn dishsoap mixed with water in a yard sprayer helps, but after it rains, you need to do it again. Good luck!

Dawn dishwashing soap will kill them. Just give them a bath and wash with the soap. It won't hurt the pups at all but will take care of the fleas. Make sure you treat the house and bedding or you are fighting a losing battle.
Good luck.

There are no home remedies for fleas infestation. Your puppies need a visit to the veterinarian quickly. Fleas carry illnesses and also cause infestation of your home. Flea shampoos typically are a secondary treatment. You need to get a prescription flea medication from your veterinarian ASAP. Please don't use medications purchased at a store. I work in an animal hospital, and we have had one pet die from the medication purchased at a store and others become quite ill.

You can use Dawn to get rid of the adult fleas, but it will do nothing for the eggs. There are several options you can choose from at your local vet, but I wouldn't suggest any home remedies for permanent fixes since they don't work and some can cause harm to puppies.

As far as the carpet in your home, I have always heard that sprinkling salt and letting sit for a bit, then vacuuming it up with get rid of them in the carpet. . . (Make sure you have a good enough vacuum to get it out though). If you don't get rid of the fleas everywhere at the same time, you will have an endless battle on your hands...

you can use skin-so-soft or white vinagar. I have had better results with the vinagar. If you use the vinagar you can mix it 1/3 part vinagar 2/3 part water, rub it onto the body for a few minutes then rince it off. You can also add a small amount of garlic to your dogs diet a few times a week. This will keep fleas away not to mention its a natural wormer.

Lightly baby powder from the neck down outside in the air as not to fume the pups breathing while applying.Vaccuum & wash the bedding.
Garlic is toxic & do not use dawn on a baby.
