My boss at work has just had a quiet word with me and asked me to not to dress so well...?

...he says all the birds at work are distracted by me and he hears them talking about what I'll be wearing the next day and which bird will be my favourite of the day etc. It's not my fault if all the fit birds at work and even some of the ugly and fat ones fancy me is it?

Well Rumster, you certainly have a way with words,buddy, but I'm sure the girls at work think you're a real hottie.You should tell your boss that clothes maketh the man, and that it is unfair to expect you to dress down because your dress sense is a part of your personality, your confidence, your personal pride and your presentation of yourself to the world. If you are that irresistible to these girls, then what you wear will be irrelavent. You could put Brad Pitt in a hessian sack and he'd still be divine to look at.

Maybe you can also have a word with the girls and let them know that you are flattered by their attention, but it is causing you unecessary problems with the boss, so they need to be a little more discreet with their horny gossip.

If all else fails, maybe you should just quit your job and became the next male model of the century, that way all women can appreciate your magnificence, even the fat chicks!!!

Just a friendly word of advice,man...a little humility goes a long way, as does a greater appreciation of other human beings regardless of their outer appearance....next time you're at the dvd store, grab a copy of Shallow Hal.....you might find it interesting...And most importantly, life is short...there are people around you who have terminally ill children, or serious financial problems, suffering severe depression and major health concerns....lets not even start on the poverty of the third world...

So Rumster, my gorgeous, well dressed friend, if this is your worst problem, consider yourself blessed and very lucky....tell your boss to lighten up, and tell yourself that in years to come, your good looks will fade and the young chicks will find a new heart throb...what then? Will you sit around your bachelor pad, on your ageing saggy backside, wondering where the years went? Or will you have people in your life to love you no matter what you look like? Did you get the cop's badge #? i could have a sit along with your slimy boss and tell him that you in no way had any objective of telling his spouse. Then tell him if he maintains to annoy you, you'll certainly tell her and the police officials. ensure you've accomplished your study-get the spouse's determination and deal with. If he maintains, do it. No activity is worth that garbage. As for the extortion issue-the police officials will understand even if you're mendacity or he's. they are experienced observers and browse body language fairly properly. in case you spot his pal again-you call the interior sight police first (do not use 9-a million-a million, until eventually you experience you're in threat) and characteristic them modern-day. you probably did no longer something incorrect, don't be afraid to have a backbone. with a bit of luck you are able to carry this slimeball down. P.S. His spouse likely already is conscious.......

I think the women just like you because you are young, baby.
You are a source of amusement for them,more clear they laugh about you.
About your boss, he had no right to ask you to dress in any way,but it is possible he disliked a certain itom in your warderobe and then he invented a reason to tell you to dress differently.
I say if you are sure of your professional skills, just ignore him.
If not, do what your boss told you.

This to some may sound like fantasy, but having worked with some mighty odd bosses I can honestly say it wouldnt surprise me.
You have to remember the simple truth ... Management have, in the main, been promoted to the level of their incompetance. There is bound to be clashes of personality, especialy if you can do your job ... no doubt jealous of that too.

Nope. Not your fault at all. But dress down just the same, unless of course your planning to leave the job. As one of my former bosses told me, "don't get your meat were you get your bread and butter!"
