Hi. Welcome to Toronto.
You can e:mail www.highparkskiclub.com or you can try calling them at (416) 537-SNOW. When you call press 2-1-0 to request a lesson. I believe they are free the lessons.
Good luck and have fun.

I've never heard of skyvalley myself.

In the Toronto area, there are only a few ski hills. If you want to try a decent hill, but not one that is too difficult, you could try Glen Eden in Milton. Milton is about 45 min West of downtown Toronto on the 401. You can actually see the ski hill from the 401 if you are driving between Guelph and Milton.

Glen Eden is probably the best ski hill within the GTA (in my opinion). If you are looking for something more challenging, try Blue Mountain (near Collingwood) or Mt. St. Louis / Moonstone (near Barrie)

you will not discover any snowboarding everywhere around Toronto (Blue Mountain - that may not be that close to Toronto - or in any different case) in September. interior the fall, Toronto and section nonetheless has temps interior the 70s or maybe 80s in specific circumstances, and Toronto and each and all of the encircling section is rather flat. The "Collingwood" component of Ontario has snowboarding, yet i might say in all probability into a minimum of November. Whistler is in B.C., hundreds of miles away. In Quebec, Mt. Tremblant, etc., you're able to be able to discover snowboarding, yet not as early as September.
