Over this past weekend, I attended CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference as a representative of the NRA/ILA.

This conference was held at the Omni Hotel in DC which was simultaneously holding a convention for the Redstockings, a radical feminist group, in another hall. Their agenda, which I obtained latter, showed that this conference promoted the dissolution of the family, the "right" of women to murder children up to a year old, and the general hatred of the "White Male".

However, on the second day of the conference, after I attended the Regan banquet, I ended up unknowingly meeting one of these women at the hotel bar. I had a rather successful day at the conference, had attended Ann Coulters speech earlier that day, and had been on a steady diet of red meat for the previous three days. As a result, I was behaving much more like an "Alpha-Male" then usual and therefore had the confidence to approach this girl.

Having flown in from Seattle, she had never seen DC before and, believing that she was with CPAC, I offered to show her the monuments.

After I gave her a tour of the monuments, we returned to her hotel room, and both being somewhat drunk, we ended up spending the evening there.

It was only the next morning that we learned that we were attending opposing conferences.

While I fully understand why I was attracted to her, namely because as a PoliSci nerd women are rarely interested in me and she was certainly an exception, I can’t help but wonder how she could be attracted to a Conservative White Man like myself after attending a conference devoted to vilifying us.

I almost wonder if she was actually “turned on” by her conference and ended up being attracted to the very thing her conference was devoted to attacking.

PS. Another thing that I found surprising is that while the Conservative women I have dated have always wanted to participate in love making as an equal, this girl, a member of the radical feminist movement, actually requested that we have sex in several different manners that I would think would be demeaning to women.

Hmmm... Maybe this Red Stockings gal felt bad for you because you're a conservative and you all seemed destined to shoot yourself in the foot, then stick said foot in your mouth.
