There are more letters in salmon - see, there are only 3 letters in egg - e g g. Salmon has twice as many letters. s a l m o n. The letters are all different too. There are no e's or g's in salmon or vice versa. Other than that, there's not much difference really.

First I saw a comment that an egg is dairy. An egg comes from a chicken not a cow.

You dont poach an egg and salmon the same way. Poaching is a method of cooking that uses a flavorful cooking liquid to gently simmer food. With a poached egg you would use vinegar or wine mixed with water. The acid helps the egg coagulate and stay together rather than spreading out too much. For salmon or chicken or any other meat, you would use herbs, garlic, shallots, or onions to season your cooking liquid, again typically water. You have to season the liquid though otherwise all you do is simmer the flavor out of your food and into the water. So you need that balance in flavor, so that flavor will also flow into the food. Im not sure how to explain it better without getting too scientific.

The fish is a type of meat and is a fish. An egg is in a shell to start with and when you poach it you break the egg into hot water and it becomes a poached egg.

They are both dropped into hot water to cook but one is a fish and one is a dairy product - the main thing sis probably that you should poach your eggs in a bit of vinegar but probably not your salmon - you are better of just steaming that cos its nicer!!!

A salmon is a fish. An egg is much smaller. The salmon has fins and gills. An egg has a shell. I suppose some people might find it very difficult to tell one from the other. If you're having trouble telling them apart, you might try asking some of your neighbors.
