i have jus been wonderin if i got with this lad i like he is black n i have ginger hair, what would happen if i had his children would they be half cast with a ginger afro????---- im not sayin we gunna have kids he planned his future n he sed we are gunna get married n have kids??? so its just been on my mind, anyone help???

it it most likely that the children will come out with his traits because the male carries out the most of the traits. So the babies would have black hair probably.

I am an African - American with heavily mixed blood. And I can tell you it may just be a toss up. Most of my family have reddish hair or dark brown hair. My son's father was Native American - Spaniard mixed my son was born with coal black hair. My sister kids her husband is White with red/brownish hair has a child with reddish brown hair and a child that is ash blond.(her husbands father is a blonde),(her oldest son who has a different father also has ash blond hair.)

FYI: The child can have light hair when born and then it may darken later in life or stay light. And don't worry all children are beautiful inside and out when properly loved.

Doubtful. Are you both black? Usually 98% of the time, the black genes are highly predominant when mixed with any other race. Most likely your children would look mostly black with possibly lighter skin. SOMETIMES the texture of the hair is softer, but still brittle. Good luck
