Start > Run > MSCONFIG
Go to the Startup tab and uncheck the stuff you do not want to load at startup. Same with the Services tab.

Please be careful when attempting to take programs off of start-up to begin with. Go to START and then click on RUN. In the command line type in MSCONFIG. When the System Configuration Utility opens, click on the STARTUP tab. Everything in this list that is checked is a program that opens when you start your computer. To remove an item from starting, simply uncheck the boxes of the programs you wish to disable from startup and click OK when you are finished. You may then restart your computer if you choose to do so. When you do restart, a window will open saying that you have changed your configuration. You can simply check the box to not show this window everytime the computer starts. I hope this helps!

You have to go to
Start-->Program Files-->Startup
any program listed here will be startup when you start the computer
There are still programs which startup otherwise.
You should download a free utility called "Startup Control Panel"

click Start, Run, type msconfig, hit Enter, go to Startup tab (the last one, uncheck any program you don't want, leave the security one checked (antivirus, firewall, antispyware), click OK to save, reboot if you want to. The next time, you won't see them program autoload again. Also, check the Startup folder (Start, All Programs, Startup folder. If you see any you don't want, right click it, select Delete to remove it).
