Write her a note. But I don't see why you can't tell her if you really like her...? Don't you want happiness? If so, be a man and tell her yourself.

First, make sure there is a mutual attraction between the two of you or you're gonna end up feeling like a dumb-azz. If you can tell she likes you then just casually tell her that she's pretty, see how she reacts, and if she reacts positively and gives you a compliment tell her you like her.
