I've been using this method for about 5 years now. And it has worked great for me with no pregnancies. I recently read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and I have to tell you it's the best book out there for natural family planning. I highly recommend it to you. It only takes a few minutes of your day to check your temperature, cervical mucus, and to chart. I personally love doing this. I wake up anxious every morning just to take my temperature. You will be amazed on how our body chemistry really works.

I have- and both times I got pregnant- however my pregnancies were 6 years apart. We didn't do withdrawl- but rather went by my ovulation. Ie. we wouldnt have sex around the times of the month i ovulated. However this sucked- and now i'm looking into getting mirena (we dont plan on getting pregnant again for another 2 or 3 years) And I say it sucked because i had to always be thinking about what time of the month it was- and could we have sex this day- or not. (i suppose we could have tried pull out on the days i 'couldn't' have sex- but we didnt want to risk it).. anyways.. so it left a short time we could have sex- and if you aren't into having sex while youre on your period- it really doesn't leave a whole lot of time for 'no worries' sex. Obviosuly there is no way to know exactly when you'll ovulate- your body is always changing- and you will probably get pregnant at some point. Either you'll ovulate early or whatever or else you get all caught up in the moment and forget about the date and then *oops* Have you checked into other methods? ie- IUD? Also you could go by the ovulation method (but you really need to be familiar with your body and know when you ovulate and chart it awhile first etc etc) and then use condoms on the 'high risk" week??? that could work. good luck =)

The pill is the in reality one which truly regulates as you're literally not taking it continually (21 days, then a week's damage, suitable?). The pill could have given you migraines because estrogen narrows your arteries hence lowers the oxygen degrees attending for your mind. except the very undeniable truth that it fell out, did you get on along with your IUD in the different case? that is progesterone in reality so once you're searching for something which will very last many years and is outfitted so that you do not could take a pill on a daily basis, i could strongly propose the implant (implanon) it truly is type of a tiny plastic stick it truly is outfitted type of on the interior your top arm (it truly is totally secure in this section). it truly is a lot less painful than an IUD installation and really helps maximum women individuals with heavy sessions - maximum women individuals i understand who'd had it both stopped thoroughly or only had a touch bit recognizing each so usually. even as they in good structure the implant they typically use interior sight anesthetic and the implant lasts for 3 years. you are able to have it replaced on the on the spot after 3 years and the undesirable consequences are a lot below those of the pill and, until eventually you're pregnant even as they in good structure the implant, they are going to rather a lot assure you gained't get pregnant. contained in the united kingdom there is in no way been a recorded case of being pregnant in this BC until eventually someone became pregnant even as that they had it outfitted. As on your epidermis, it truly is confusing to assert even if this may help or no longer - estrogen is the perfect issue for it, yet once you're growing to be migraines this may heavily jeopardize your well being - I once had a focal migraine even as i became on the pill and it were given so undesirable I went blind and became informed i became fortunate now to not have had a stroke. there are quite some remedies you are able to get for pimples that are not hormonal, so that you'll consider this as a separate issue. each and each of the perfect!

Amber I use natural child birth methods, withdrawal to be precise! I cant take the pill, the coil puts me through hell each month and the new coil which has a hormone turned me in to a psycho as does the pill. We have condoms at home but my partner and I prefer our sex life to be spur of the moment not having to stop in mid throws of passion, so far withdrawal has worked for us but I am also fully aware that this is not the best method and I could end up pregnant but we have both agreed if it happens it happens.

I think you and your partner have to be very straight about this and be aware of all the risks involved. If you are in a long term relationship this method can be OK but if your not use must find some other method or you could end up being a single mum!!!

I'm not sure about natural, but I know combining spermicidal foam or lubricants and condoms is very effective. Also, there are other options now besides the three you mentioned. Personally, I chose Implanon, which is a small pill-rod-thing that is implanted underneath the skin of your upper arm and is 99.9% effective for three years. Good luck!

You might try the sponge they are back and a very good and easy to use birth control method. They are a little on the expensive side but worth it when you cant use other methods.Ask at your doctor or clinic about them.
