Both the Bible and the Qur’an prohibit the eating of pork. Muslims are aware of this prohibition and observe it strictly.
However, most readers of the Bible say they do not know where they can find this in the Bible.
In the book of Leviticus, chapter 11, v. 7, it is recorded that God declares the pig to be unclean for believers. Then, in
verse 8, God says: “You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you”. This command is
repeated in Deuteronomy 14:7-8. Then, in Isaiah 65:2-4, and 66:17, God issues a stern warning against those who
eat pork.
Some people are aware of this prohibition from God, but they say that they can eat pork because St. Paul said that all
food is clean in his letter to the Romans 14:20. St. Paul said this because he believed (as he wrote in his letter to the
Ephesians 2:14-15) that Jesus had abolished the Law with all its commandments and regulations. He seems, however,
to have misunderstood what he heard about Jesus. In the Gospel According to Matthew 5:17-20, Jesus is reported to
have said quite the contrary, as follows: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law . . . ." Jesus then went on
in that passage (in verse 19) to denounce anyone who would break the smallest commandment and teach others
likewise. He also praised his true followers who will practice and teach even the smallest commandment. One of the
commandments, as we have seen, is to stay away from pork.
This is why the true followers of Jesus, holding on to his teachings, did not let unclean food such as pork enter their
mouths, so that Peter, the chief disciple, can say, “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean” (Acts of the
Apostles, ch. 10, v. 14)
Five chapters later in the Acts of the Apostles, 15:29, we find that the original disciples still differentiate between clean
and unclean foods, and this time Paul is in agreement with them. Six chapters later, in ch. 21, v. 25, their decision to
impose food regulations on believers is mentioned without regret, and this time Paul is challenged to prove that he is in
agreement with them; and he demonstrated his full agreement with them.
What remains, then, is that Jesus, on whom be peace, upheld the prohibition against pork. His disciples also upheld it,
and so must all his followers. Those who fail to uphold it need to be informed and reminded of this rule from God.
This is one reason why God sent His final messenger, on whom be peace. God says:
“O people of the Scripture ! Now has Our Messenger come unto you, expounding unto you much of that which you
used to hide in the Scripture, and forgiving much. Now has come unto you light from Allah and a plain Scripture.”
(The Meaning of the Glorious Qur’an 5:15).

If it wasn't good to eat, the US inspectors would reject it. The meat inspectors know a heck of a lot more about meat than you, the koran, Adam, Eve, the Torah, and everything else put together.
The Muslims and Jews wouldn't eat pork because it wasn't "clean". Nothing was dirtier than they were, with dusty, crudy robes and greasy whiskers. Just look at some of those people that you see on the news. They look as if they have more grease in their beards than in the oil wells.

Christians, I believe, think that the laws of the Old Testament were superseded by the two commandments of Jesus. This was a great controversy during the early years of the Church, when some followed James, who wished to have it remain a sect of Judaism, and Paul, who wished to open it up to the world.
That being said, some Christians do not eat pork. Seventh Day Adventists are an example.

Number one: Pork Chops are really good!
2. Adam & Eve were not forgiven (they were never allowed back into Eden).
3. Jesus is the fulfillment of these laws that are (now) no longer the way to salvation.
4. We could however use a little Leviticus in our war against these Philistine Islamo-Fascists.

well it may be what you belive but im a christian and i eat pork that does not make me a sinner and the reason is everybody does stuff wrong in their life if you could not make a mistakke then you would not learn anything and i have read the bible and if you are going to ask something about the bible you should have all the facts first cause the bible explains more then that. and if we can't eat pork we can't eat anything because anything we eat is not really right to eat any ways but food was made because our bodies need nutrients to survive.

Is it God who said don't eat pork, or was it someone else? If it was indeed NOT a message straight from God, in true life, you can assume that the reason anyone ever said DON'T EAT PORK is because you can get tape worms from eating undercooked pork products. It's just an easy way to avoid getting sick. They had nothing to combat the tape worm back then. They may not have even known why pork made people sick, and caused them to die.

In the Bible in Old Testament their is a book(can't remember the name of the book) God tells us what to eat and what not to eat. In that book it says not to eat pork because it is unclean. Scientifically we should not eat pork because pigs do not have sweat glands and have no way of purging their bodies of bacteria or viruses. So we have two good reason's not to eat pork. If you go by the Bible and eat as it tells you, you don't get sick like those that eat what ever they choose.

Look - Adam and Eve were not real. They were a story for the uneducated a few thousand years ago. It's all a fable!
Now, some thousands of years on, pork is quite safe to eat but the writings of some old codgers a long time ago seem to still convince the gullible that it all applies today. How foolish.

The Bible says nothing about pork consumption. That is Hebrew law, from the Torah. It isn't a test, it is law.

That was stated in the Old Testament. With the birth of Christ, everything changed. It was a sin to eat pork because the pig is considered an "unclean" animal. Anything that was considered "unclean" you were not supposed to eat of because it made you unclean. Shrimp, pigs, birds, etc. Anything that made you "impure" was a sin.
With the birth of Christ, however, that all changed...

I don't understand. Are you saying that Muslims and Jews SHOULD eat pork because they'll eventually be forgiven? Or are you saying that Christians SHOULDN'T eat pork because they're the only ones that failed the test?
