Could be a lot of things?? Might have a sacral dysfunction?? Very common in women because women's pelvis' have to free float for child birthing sometimes you get buggied up along the SI joint? Without seeing you rough to say?? Could have a little scoliosis Backs are an evil beast. See your GP and get a script for PT then do some research see a good manual therapist that has taken some coarse work with the institute of physical arts. You can check it out in the web. Hope this helps??

Most likely if you go to a chiropractor he will say your SI joint is locked up. Fixable in one visit.

Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas (natural muscle relaxers) daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

I feel your pain...literally. When I was 26, I suddenly felt a pinch in my low back. I thought it would go away, but it progressively got worse. I eventually went to a chiropractor and discovered it was a herniated disc which is normally easy for them to fix.

A herniated disc can often press against your sciatic nerve and cause pain down your legs. I'd monitor your pain very carefully and seek out a good chiropractor or pan management specialist. Don't wait for it to get too bad.

If the pain is at all at the sides of your back and going into your pelvis, the this could be a urinary tract infection. You need some antibiotics from your GP. You need to see him/her anyway incase it is something else.

Could it be ovulation pains. I get those on either side for just a day each month. It's a little cramping and a sharp pain on either side. This all takes place in the areas you mentioned. I usually have a headache just for that day too.

go to a good chiropractor. You may have a slipped disk or a pinched nerve. I f you do then a chiropractor can help you that is if you haven't had surgery on your back. If you are hurting that bad you better have something done.
