I thinks you should take your time an get to know the guy, talk to him about his interest and his goals in life. Be very blunt and tell him what you think when ever you feel its right. Never hold back!
alot of poeple say that "Oh you shoulnt have a relationship online cause people are fake ............"
and I'm pretty sure they say alot more but fake people are every where, you can get to know a person online not fully but you can,
even if the person is laying you will eventually notice and find out the truth.

I started a relationship online, and to top it off we didnt live on the same state to everyting is harder but we are goin on a year now. we met in person he met my family and i met his, and so far we are happy. So like a said before just take your time!

Her if you got any more questions let me know I know how you might be filling, trust me sometimes I've felt like i cant do
it but here i am!

Jay =)

No, especially if you are not being monitored. How old is this boy?Have you met him? Why do you want to sit at the computer sharing words with this individual when you should be doing something more constructive -

Studying
Reading
Helping out around the house
Preparing for your next day

Sitting on the computer communicating with this young man could lead to a great deal of trouble. Take it from me, you have way too much time in life to get caught up in the boy craze. You are not even old enough to date yet.

you do not give enough information. if this is someone you met on the computer then the answer is NO!!!! if this is a guy friend from school it would be fun to email, etc.
people tend to become bold when they talk on the computer because they do not have to look at you in the face and fear rejection. sometimes fun talk can escalate into dirty talk that is not really acceptable between a 14y/o girl and a boy.i suggest you ask your mom if it is ok. if it is a stranger the answer is always no and never meet or tell them where you live.

Well, personally I think it is ok to have a relationship on a computer. I mean a relationship is all about emotions and the way you feel, so IF you are happy doing what your doing, I don't see anything wrong with it=)

I have a 12yo old daughter and I say NO!!! Especially if he is over the age of 18. Not a good move. You are 14...you are a child. Enjoy it. Dont grow up so fast. For that matter where are you parents to monitor you activity on the computer? My daughter likes playing around at Habbo Hotel and Millsberry isnt that what little girls like to do? Not "hookin" up with older men who will bring you nothing but drama, pregnancy, std's and much worse....maybe death. stop before it gets out of hand little girl.

Relationships over the computer are not real and therefore are are waste of time. It's allright to go out with friends at any age, if you plan to get together in real life then by all means, if not. I'd not waste your time online, he'll be upset when he's unable to get you to walk off the computer into his own life.

Hi. I'm 16 and I've had a relationship over the internet. They don't always work. Depending on how old the guy is and if hes a nice honorable guy, then it could work. Mine didn't, but you never know. And be cautious who you talk to he could be something you don't expect.

I know that messaging is certainly helpful to those with long-distance relationships, but it's not all that satisfying. Why can't you see this guy in person? If you haven't actually met, I don't see the point. Watch out for old men, etc.

Ok remember I have been 14 at one time to.Heres what i think I think if your mom and or dad ok it then ok.But remeber sometimes someone can pretend to be something they are not.A lot of timesif someone knows your age online then they can be someone bad pretending that theyare younger.I would recomend you find a friend in person to talk to.
