If you dont like him tell him ..
let him know that you do care about him but only as a friend
try to let him down easily - honesty is the best way to go about it

tell him you are gay and prefer chicks. The only thing that can go wrong there is that he may want to watch 2 chicks at the same time. The hell with it, go for it and bang the guy, maybe he'll leave you alone after.

Just tell him that you like him as a friend and nothing more. Tell him how you feel about him. But don't talk in a way that will hurt him.

Just tell him you don't look at him as a boyfriend you look at him as a friend.............tell him he's like a cousin to you because youe bestfriend is like a sister to you so you look at him as a cousin......that won't hurt him

Be honest with this, you need to be direct and set boundaries upfront, otherwise it snowballs into something you have to continually deal with. He will respect you more in the long run if you are honest.
