Love is, in and of its self, in an undefinable thing, as it is not a physical object, and means something different to everyone. Love is that light feeling in your stomach when you see someone, even if you see them every day, and you know that you'll see them the next, and the next. Love is what drives you to go out of your way to make someone happy, and not ask for or expect anything in return. No one can ever tell you exactly what love is to you, that is something that only time can bring you knowledge of.

Love is when you know that you have found someone who you never want to lose, that you know, if you lost them, you would lose a part of your heart that you could never get back. When you know that if you were un able to have this person in your life, you would never be whole without them, and you would spend every day for the rest of your life aching for them once again. When 2 people could enjoy each other for day, months and years on end without the pleasures of the flesh that account for the mojority content of most short-lived relationships there days.

When you have found someone that you know you love, that you know you could never be without, no one will be able to tell you. The feeling get around them will be indecribable, the desire you have to mearly be close to them will be an ever quested for, yet never atained satisfaction you crave for every second of the day. No matter hoe much time you spend with them, it will never seem enough, but you'll know that the time you spend in their compny will fullfill your life for every second that seperates you from their embrace once more.

As I said before, there is no way to define it for you, only to do what I can to give you the understanding of how great it will feel, so that when you do finally realize that you have found that one true love, you will know that you cannot let them go, and you will get the same feelings from them, helping your relationship to grow and evolve, always learning, never ending, and forever enjoying that bond that you 2 will share for the rest of eternity.

This is one of the questions I think mankind and womenkind will never resolve because of the vast confusion over love being whatever a person makes it out to be. How do you know if someone loves you? If I had the answer to that I'd be a millionaire because love is not love, love is nothing but loops in this world, in this day and age of materialism, and when you find a mate, guess what? Duh, guess who really doesn't love you like that person said he or she loved you? And finally, love is a four letter word starting with the letter "f" and ending with the letter "k", think about it and it is not my intent to be disrespectful because if I come off like that, then I apologize, but if sex or money is not in the works of what love is really supposed to be, then you aren't going to find true love lest it be a dog or cat, like dog is a mans best friend, and kitty cats are a womens best friend. Now, you tell me, what in the f*c* is love supposed to be and I hope you find whatever you are looking for, I love you respectfully. By by and don't forget to take the weeds out of the flower garden.

I don't think anyone truly knows what love is. It could be classed as a feeling. If someone loves you then you will probably know instantly if you feel the same, you will both feel right in each others company and will just fit.

love is what turns a stormy day into a bright sunny one, is the water that heals cuts....and you'll know that someone loves you when this person does anything possible (and tries the impossible) to make u happy, avoids making you cry, and does not makes decitions for you, always ask you first

I know my hubby loves me because he takes care of me and does everything in a very loving way. He is always concerned about me and tells me often that he loves me. I can just feel and see his love for me, there is no doubt in my mind that he is in love with me.

According to some philosophers, me being one, love can be quantified by, "serve others to better serve yourself." And please don't begin talking about selfish. I am still my-self. (I'm all about me, shhhh don't tell anyone) To illustrate, "Don't hurt MY baby! *I* love my baby more than anything!" We relate the world to the self. Social structured mammals make sense.

It's when you can laugh with that person like you do with your best friend. When you look into their eyes and you can't stop staring at eachother. Everyone feels something different though. I'm sure you will know when it happens.

Ahhh, the confusion of love....there is platonic, lust, brotherly,etc. It is what you see/feel in him. They say love is blind, so do your best to stay aware. Does he call, go out of his way for you, dedicate time to you daily/weekly Etc. Only you know these things.
