A teenaged boy spits at me several times a day, every day.(He most of the times misses me...but spitting is spitting!!) I tell him to stop and explain how nasty spitting is. I also tell him it is against the law. The boy's parent doesn't seem to see anything wrong with the kid's constant spitting. Today the boy spit on my car.
This kid spits when I am talking to his parent. The kid spits when I say something he disagrees with. And...the kid spits just when ever he wants ti irritate me. I think the kid is mentally disturbed.

Any ideas?

Everytime he spits spray him with the hose. A freezing cold hose. He will stop.

I have a few questions... Are you a teacher? Do you HAVE to be around this boy? If you've already spoken to the parents and they don't do anything about it, then I'd consider this harassment, and file a police report! Mentally disturbed or not, spitting on people is not acceptable behavior at any age.

I don't think he is mentally retarded or anything. I think he knows how much it bothers you...therefore he does it that much more often. This is a form of harassment and he as well as his parents can get in trouble for this!!! The next time he does it and nobody is in sight hock up a big lugie and spit on him, let him know what it feels like. Or you could record him on video doing this and audio of you telling his parents and take it to the legal system.

Punch him in his GRILL.
It is hard to spit when you are missing teeth or your nose is broken.
If you feel uncomfortable doing it then get someone who will, like me.
Spitting is a form of disrespect. It is disgusting. So this boy is spitting on you like you are beneath him. And going to his parents is no help because they probably condone his behavior. I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF HE WAS PREJUDICE.
If you can not avoid this ignorant prick then knock or get some one to knock his block off.
Then call him a PUNK when he is down and crying.

Try it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I have a 5yr old nephew and has the speach of a 2yr old. When he starts, he wont stop. Like pringles. So this may as well be out your understanding. If he does it in front of you, at you, and in front of his own parents, that cleary is a mental illness on an above average level. Consult the parents with your concern( and in many ways, your disgust), and/or a recommend a psychologist.

his mother needs to stop the spitting. How? she needs to start making him accountable for his wrong doings by taking something he cares about from him (TV Bike )every time he spits at someone.

It depeds on the situation you're in. That could be a public safety issue. If you are a teacher or something I say request to have him analyzed. If you are just a neighbor or something I say call the police and explain they may be able to make the child get analyzed, it sounds as if he has a mental defect. His parents should be doing something about it as well.

If it were me and im being honest I would spit on him. Or I would do something that really irritated him all the damn time. I would carry around a chalk board and scratch it around him every time I saw him.

Get yourself some pepper spray then warn him and his parents that you will use it on him if he spits at you again.

maybe a hose is extreme, but a spray bottle isn't! that is ridiculous that his parents don't wanna recognize the problem! if you spray him when he spits he should stop
