i went for walk with my friend's boyfriend,s friend.He saw these roses and picked up one for me.does this mean he likes me or was he being nice since his friend dates my friend.

Its hard to say with just a walk and a rose, however, it does sound like he was trying to be a little romantic. See if he does anything else.
If you want to pursue it, tell him you had a nice walk and you should do again sometime, leaving him the chance to make a date.

I think he has visions of a cozy little foursome and it would make it easier if his friend is seeing your friend but remember he might have to choose sides if she and his friend split. You might really get into him but then he could drop you out of loyalty for his friend. Be careful I have been there and I lost my friend too as I was the one who dumped him and he and his friend stuck together and I was left out in the cold. Sounds like a cozy idea but it can get messy.

Truthfully your best bet is to speak to him about it. If you have feelings for him then it may be best to let him no and if he has feelings for you, go for it. But if not, don't set yourself up for a fall.
One safe solution is to get your friend to ask your her boyfriends friend what they think of you. Or better still get you friends boyfriend to ask on your behalf.
