Absolutely not.
Christians (those that actually read and think) are mandated to test everything in the light of scripture, and if someone is preaching what appears to be in error, to attempt to resolve the dispute one to one, if that is not successful, than to bring in others to help resolve it.
The problem with most Christians today (one of the many) is as a Lutheran pastor whom I like stated "Don't just check your hat at the sanctuary door, check your whole head, because you know you won't be using it for the next hour..."
The church for the most part has become lazy, slothful, and antiintellectual... much like the rest of american culture...

No, I value his opinion especially as he is wise and has more time for study and meditiation. My pastor went through a period of fallinga way an searching within in various religions in his 20's I appreciate his wide base of study.
However I think things through on my own and dont always agree with his conclusions. I have never known anyone who I would just assume is correct.

No. A big problem with Christianity today is that people put too much belief in what a man tells them and His/her interpretation of the scripture, rather than reading if for themself...Although I do honor and respect the office of pastor/priest, they are not infallible.

Do you assume that what you are taught in secular schools and by teachers is correct in what they say simply because the so-called world say's it's acceptable?
Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

No.
I know they are human beings...with faults, prejudices, sin, etc.
They aren't always right...but it is their career and you have to realize that they study the scripture and actively work at understanding God and teaching us.
There is a priest at our church...he's a wonderful man and I believe he loves God very much. He's also very liberal and I disagree with some of the things he says and believes.

absolutely not... never assume anyone has all the answers... check what they say against scripture. while i think our pastor is on the right track with what he says and does, all humans are just that, human... and can make mistakes. we have to hold them just as accountable as anyone else... never assume anyone is the end all/know all of scripture or God...

When he speaks of Biblical and religious things, I value his opinion very much as he has spent many years in study and prayer.
When he talks about worldly things, I listen like I would listen to anyone else.

I listen to his translations and agree sometimes and disagree others. That's natural. To agree all the time would be ignorant; and you'd have to lack character and the ability to think.
