Just want to clarify if it is an engine under 1.4 that keeps the tax down and is it different for each car and also a pegeout 307 estate would it be dear to insure?

Yes under 1.4 is good , but it also goes off what emissions it pumps out, so a newish 1.4 would be cheaper than an older 1.4. Not sure about your specific model, you can always get a quote on line from most insurers, just make sure you have ALL the details in front of you. Hope this helps...

I think you will find it is an engine 1.2. I have a Corsa 1.2 and I have cheaper tax. As to the insurance on the Peugot you will have to ask an insurance company about that as they all vary.

lower the engine size the cheaper it is to insure. try an insurance broker to help get the cheapest quotes.

low as 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, then 1.6 + for more...

try aa insurance for quotes they use the cheapest and its anything under a 1.4cc
