My hubby does it all the time. We have DSL. I use their free site on my laptop, but I only download music, and it's a decent speed, although I did do one movie, and it was slow to download the movie on the free site. My hubby paid for their Pro membership (I think it was around $18.88/yr), and that makes it download much faster. He will often pick out several movies and songs he wants to download, and start them downloading on his pc at night while we are asleep, or in the morning when we leave. It's not slow with the Pro version, but he is so enamored with it right now that he downloads stuff constantly. We watch a lot more movies now, and it's great - I know he's recouped his $18.88 many times over.
Go to www.limewire.com Click on the red "Get It Now" button. This will open a page that allows you to either download the free or pro version. It will also show you what the differences are.
Happy downloads!

Yes.

But, after the Grokster case, many backdoors and trackers were installed in Limewire.

The developers moved off shore, to servers that are truly FREE, in countries where FREEdom means something.

So, I download all my free stuff, (I do FOSS, Free Open Source Software), using http://pclinuxos.com
which contains Frostwire.

Think about it.
