They also use this crap about finishing the job like it is a viable argument. Liberals opposed the mistake in the first place because people do die in wars. So why enter one that isn't helping our cause at all? It is only making life worse for Americans. So why do none of you that use the "finishing" answer at least admit that it was a mistake to go over there? How are we a better country now?

The simple fact is that we were lied into war with a country that has nothing to do with WMD's or Al-CIAeda. If Saddam had WMD's, he would've used them on us a long time ago. You know when Reagan gave him all the chemical weapons he used against Iran in the 80's.
Yes people do die in wars, but the US was never designed to be the World Police. We were brought into becoming a free Republic that believes in peoples' liberties. Instead, we're getting everything our founding fathers fought and died for stripped from us one at a time, slowly but surely.
Now look, we got permanent bases going up in Iraq to help prolong their civil war that us and the UK are contributing to keep our troops there. Now we got the whole deal with Iran coming up. They say they have Nukes, the same people that told us that Iran had WMD's. IRAN CANNOT GO NUCLEAR WEAPONS WISE TILL 2015. This being off our intelligence talking about Iran in '05. So now you'll go off talking about the Mortor shells. Yeah, the mortor shell(such heavy scale weaponry, well it was back in WW1) that was written in English stating what size it was too. Must be from one of the english speaking parts of Iran. Dolts, do your really believe that. WE'RE BEING LIED TO HELP KEEP THE INDUSTRIALIZED MILITARY COMPLEX AFLOAT, ALONG WITH MAKING MANY MORE TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR THE OIL INDUSTRY!!!

We are a bette rcountry becouse we are a safer country.
A threat just as terrible as a terrorist attack is eating away at America though.The threat is liberals/cowards who want to tuck tail and run.This war with Islam has been building for centuries.If the scavenging Dems would let this war be fought like it should be.We would send these terrorists a final message and be done with this.
As usual though all the Liberals/cowards have never been to Iraq but yet think they how best to handle things.

Liberals voted unanimously to go to war ( Flipped since)
When you start a war, you have to finish it, by winning or surrendering. We will NOT SURRENDER.
And it isn't crap about people dying in wars, that, Skippy, is what happens. Of course, sitting in your warm safe house, you wouldn't understand that. Now let us get on with winning the war, so you and the rest of the Cowardly Liberals will remain safe.

Even if it was a mistake to go over there, then we need to at least accomplish helping them to stabilize some before retreating. If the US left Iraq now, then people worse than Hussein would be in power and more terrorists would be trained and then more American civilians would die like they did on 9/11. Even if it has not made us a better country, at least one psycho is out of power. My husband has fought in this war and I know people who have pulled 3 tours of duty in this war. Imagine how our lives are especially when we get the call that a soldier in the battery has died but they can't tell us who yet. HOW is it worse for you?
