If you were DEPORTED then you can NEVER lawfully return unless a British court or the Home Secretary has rescinded the deportation order. If you were REMOVED for a given reason then you can seek to re-enter subject to usual visa requirements. If you were removed recently then I wouldn't bother in all honesty.

I doubt that you would get a visa, if you have already been deported once it will be on record, or at least it should be!

where you deported or denied entry? it is less serious if you were only refused permission to land.
If you were to "lose" your passport; and get a new one without that nasty stamp you could try again.
It also would be worth considering flying into Ireland and then travelling to the uk,by ferry,from larne in the north or dublin.
