these are biblical answers, HOLY BOOK words that describe people who are evil. Jesus did not speak with Hate, he spoke the truth. after all Jesus was the one who said first: LOVE your enemy. And the whole time He showed love to his enemies, he was tortured, misjudged, harrasssed and terrorized.

Not only did Jesus rebuke people, he chased people out of the temple and over turned table and used a whip. He rebuked the religioius leaders and declared that they defiled the Temple of God with Thieves. These people who were the religious leaders were also the majority owners of the Money changing tables.

After all these HOLY BOOK rebukes, Jesus did speak the truth and exposed Wickedness, it is not HATRED that MOVED him to say these things.

The most derogatory thing He called others was "Fools and blind!" (Matt. 23:17 and 19). Which, of course, they were.
EDIT: I was contacted by this asker to challenge my answer. The Bible makes it clear that it's better to be a hypocrit than a fool, because hypocrits can change, but bfools cannot:
Proverbs 1:28 “ Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
29 Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the LORD,
30 They would have none of my counsel
And despised my every rebuke.
31 Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way,
And be filled to the full with their own fancies.
32 For the turning away of the simple will slay them,
And the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.”

If you were to put yourself back in the time of Jesus and witness what really went on in the synagogue that day,
you would better understand why he was so angered. and what was the real message behind this story. If you were to add up all the stories of what happened to Jesus it would take three times the life he had,
in those days they were always using proverbs or examples so people could better understand the meaning of the lesson.
First off the story wasn't about people who were selling item's in a church, they was speaking of when people are in church they must be 100% involved in what is going on, yes the story reads he was turning tables in anger but the real meaning is we must pay attention to his way, and our heads should not be turned by
the trappings in life.
remember it was the Jewish people who decided who would die that day, not the Roma's, the choice was,
Barabbas or Jesus .
the majority and the loudest wanted Barabbas freed
Jesus was selected to die that day.
he knew it, that's also why Judas Iscariot was the person that took the 30 pieces of silver, without all these issues Jesus would have lived a long long life and would never had been heard of again, but it was God's design for all this to pass. it was all Gods plan.

When Jesus scattered the tables and made a whip and used it he showed love for the Father.
Love GOd with all you heart, with all your mind, and all your strength.
Love GOD foremost.
This how you will know if I am in you, You will love one another.
Two different "Loves" with the first being the greater.

The reason he did that was because they were using religion to fuel their trade.
In another term, you cannot use religion to fill your pocket, that is utter corruption.
