Are you writing about nasty dispositions or nasty as in never keeping themselves clean? Define please. Or maybe you're asking about both?
OK - Nasty dispositions - Stay clear, ignore, kick them to the curb!
Nasty as far as cleanliness - Really stay clear, they keep germs, they stink, and never ever shake their hands!
That's about the size of it for me!

Impossible to avoid "nasty" people. You just have to learn to get along with everyone, as best you can.
The world is full of the good, the bad and the nasty and you just have to decide that you can deal with a little bit of all of these types of people. You will eventually end up with more good people to deal with, and have an easier time.
If you absolutely cannot stand a particular person, even if it is someone you have to deal with due to it being a work or familial relationship; keep your contact to the bare minimum.

Try not to be around them if at all possible. If you have to work or go to school with them just be nice and polite and don't let their rudeness get you down.
