doesnt seem like the biggest lie in the world, you only lied about 1 year. Im sure if he really loves you, 1 year is not going to make a difference to him. You should definitely tell him though, because he wont appreciate finding out from someone else, and the truth is bound to get out one way or another.
Godd luck :) x

To be very honest, you need to examine what has happened. What made you lie? Love doesn't work if the truth is not clear. Lies only lead to more lies, and one day you might find that your whole life is a lie. If you really love this guy, you will give him the respect he deserves by confessing. You always have to put yourself in the other person's shoes, how would you feel if he were lying to you? I hope you make the right choice!

The only thing you can do is tell him the truth
a relationship should always have honesty no matter the problem or concern - If he loves you the way you say he does he will not mind especially if it is the only thing you have ever lied about.
And if your families are okay with it then I dont see a problem

well i was in a simalar situation but i was the 20 year old and she was 17. and she told me she was 19 and lied . i was witrh her for a couple months and if she told me then being a guy i would have weighed the whole situation, hows your parents eel about it and him. then you need to be honest cuz most likly use guys are sexually active. so he wont want to lose that or you cuz the connection you made was real .he would understand if you were just honest.

If he loves you so much then why would he care that you are 17. I take it you are a senior in HS. When you go to college if you are planning on going you will find way more dudes to hit up on. But bottom line is that he should not care how old you are if you are in love

Sit down with him, prepare him for shocking news, then tell him. He will be angry and disappointed but he may stay. The sooner the better as the longer you wait the worse it will be. Good luck.

Tell him the truth, I doubt he'll go anywhere at this point. In most states 17 is legal.

Tell him the truth and wait till you are 18, to get married. Since both of your faimilies know it, they won't complain.

Um you should definitely tell him. It's not fair to him that you are putting him into an illegal situation without him knowing it. Imagine how pissed he's gonna be if (and trust me, he will one day) finds out about this without you telling him? If he really loves you, he should be understanding.
