Hi,
You can crop your pictures in most Microsoft packages.
Pop them into picture editor, word, publisher.......
When you click on the picture you should find a toolbar comes up with the crop tool on. It looks like to corners overlapping each other (!?!)

If you click on Tools then on edit image then a new window will open up and 'crop' will appear and way you go

Adobe Photoshop is the best for cropping, I use it regularly.
Try searching for it online, you can try www.download.com but it only has trial versions of it. Hope this is a bit of a help.

try google program called picasa. It is a free program that is good! I use it instead of the high priced Photoshop.

As long as you're CROPPING the pics, in STRAIGHT lines, - not using any fancy SHAPES, as "FRAMES", - I think you'd be okay, to use PAINT, - which you should find, in your "WINDOWS" package, under "ACCESSORIES"!
