i want to have a sideburns right at the level with my ear lobe, i heard that if you keep shaving the "section" where you want thick sideburns to grow, it will start growing? anybody have any suggestions?

Well, turns out the ol' shaving method doesn't actually work. But don't lose hope! There's still something you can do.
Two steps:
1. Don't shave.
2. Wait for sideburns to grow.

That's all you can really do, though. Sorry.

The sideburns will grow when your beard grows thick. The sideburns are part of your beard. Do you have a beard, yet? You don't have to KEEP the beard, but, the sideburns will grow at the same time IT does. If you have not grown one, yet, then, your sideburns will need to wait.
