Is there anything I can buy to help out with a snoring problem? Other than the obvious stuff like losing weight, nose strips, seeing a doctor, etc...

well if beating them to death isnt an option.. then try oils.

My boyfriend snore's all the time. and it was a real strain on me when we first got together as I wasn't getting enough sleep.

Then I bought oils from the market. one is lavender I think the other I cant remember... you can probably find them on the web. It really helped, he is now quieter and I sleep deeper because of the lavender.

Try it.

If it doesn't work then kicking is always a good solution..

Snoring may be the sign of a serious health problem. Some people even stop breathing for a period of time. See your doctor for a Sleep Study.... Most insurances will cover this.

a snore is a sign of an upper airway or nasal obstruction, so you need to find out the sight of obstruction. is the snore coming completely from a nasal obstruction, or is it an upper airway obstruction. have an overnight oximetry done to find out if your oxygen saturations are dropping. if there is a sawtoothing pattern in your oxygen sats, further investigation should be done, like a formal sleep study. investigate sleep disorders at the american academy of sleep medicine, or the association of polysomnographic technologists website.

If you can be comfortable sleeping on your stomach, this could really help. If you are sleeping with a partner every night, instruct him or her to try to roll you over onto your belly while you are sleeping. Sleep positions are mostly all a matter of habit.

Better pillows.
No, seriously.
And maybe a yoga tape.
Relaxing can stop the tongue from getting caught up in a strict windpipe!

Roll the person over. Changing their position always helps.
