No because you can give it to other people.

Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is an infectious disease of birds and mammals caused by an RNA virus of the family Orthomyxoviridae (the influenza viruses). In humans, common symptoms of influenza infection are fever, nausea, vomiting, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, and weakness and fatigue.[1] In more serious cases, influenza causes pneumonia, which can be fatal, particularly in young children and the elderly. Sometimes confused with the common cold, influenza is a much more severe disease and is caused by a different type of virus.[2] Similarly, the unrelated gastroenteritis is sometimes called "stomach flu" or "24-hour flu".

Influenza, or flu, is a respiratory infection. The most familiar aspect of the flu is the way it can "knock you off your feet" as it sweeps through entire communities.

The flu differs in several ways from the common cold, a respiratory infection also caused by viruses. For example, people with colds rarely get fevers or headaches or suffer from the extreme exhaustion that flu viruses cause.

If you have a fever you are VERY contagious!

The flu is a virus. You shouldn't go to school with the flu unless you want to start an epidemic.

flu = viral infection

Most people still do attend classes with the flu since they are actually contagious in the period of subclinical symptoms (you feel good but have the virus). So in short yeah go to school if you aren't vomiting or otherwise indispossed

The flu is highly contagious. You should avoid all human contact while you have flu symptoms. Once your fever breaks, you can return to "civilization" 24 hours later.

if you have coughs and sneezes, that might makeothers get the flu, absolutely not.
if the disease has just started, and made you weak, you'd better stay at home and take some vitamins and rest, after 3 or 4 days you can start school.

the flu is similiar to a cold but instead is more life threanting..
...you can die from it if not treated or if you dont rest enough.

But i think you should go to school and infect everyone so that the school can close until everyone is better again...that would be cool.... but you would need to infect the head of the school first and then work your way through to your form tutor and then the other teachers...once everyone is off...no more school for ages. :D
