Having it in a park would solve your problem, it would be just like a backyard but better, best for taking wedding pictures when the flowers are in blooming. If you dont like the park idea than you can put a add in the paper and wait for people to get back to you. I am sure you will get a lot of calls, just let them know that you will pay them for their yard, make sure you get papers made up to come to a agreement.

Maybe not backyards, but how about a garden?

Check out the summer rentals in the area you would like to get married. Actually drive out to them and look at the backyards and the porch/house, etc. I would try to find one on the ocean if possible. You could just rent it for a week, or maybe there is a resort on the ocean? I have a friend who got married at a resort on the ocean, beautiful backyard and it was right on the ocean.

Your best bet would just to check with local real estate agents. Perhaps there's an empty house up for sale that you could rent for the day.

Do a park with a pavilion in case of rain...just went to one last summer and it was awesome...the pavilion had electricity....escape from the heat....many local parks rent out their pavilions for very little money....be sure to get an alcohol permit if you want to party a bit.

you could always look into "renting" space at a nice location, such as a local historical site. Alot of these places do have accomodations for small informal weddings.

check out Bed & breakfast's. alot of little B&B's will let you buy them out. and usually the cost isn't that bad. plus, you will have a rooms for your wedding party.

how about speaking with a wedding planner? They might know of a place, might be a slight fee tho for their help.
