I have a thing called movie maker on my PC but it doesn't recognise the file format MOV.

there are some free software tools that can help you with that. Me, personally, I use a software called "Super" (just that). It can read MOV files and convert them into anything for what you have an installed codec (for example, DivX).
Only I get some shift between sound and image - I think this depends on the multiple parameters.
By me, it works best with XviD and 25fps. Origin files are from a Panasonic Lumix.

you upload your pictures from digital camera via usb lead. store them in any user then youll no where to find them fo use for e-mail
