My new boyfriend has a birthday coming up, and I do not know the exact date. I asked him what day it is on and he wont tell me because he does not want to celebrate it. What do you think? Should I leave this alone? Help!

I agree with the other poster, he doesn't want you to do a background check on him, for a possible plethora of reasons, things he doesn't want you to find out.

Or, he doesn't want you to throw some kind of a party for him. Or he doesn't want you to buy him a present, because he wants to keep things light for now. And not feel beholden by presents. Or he is celebrating his birthday somewhere else, with perhaps someone else, and doesn't want you to know what date, because you will know he is absent on his birthday.

Is it just the day he is keeping secret, or the year too? If it is the year, he is either older or younger than he is portraying himself to be. If he is secretive about this, be prepared for a lot of secrets about a lot of things.

Nope... we men might be insensitive in the outside but if things such as our birthdays are forgotten even if we dont want to celebrate.... we get really sensitive and cranky....

So do it some other way but don't get it from him it would mean that you of all people who should know forgot about his birthday it would appear that you don't care about him so find out but don't tell him! ^_^

Tell him you lied when you were asking about his birthday! ^_^

Texting lets you control the tone and establish what kind of conversation you want to have. Learn here https://tr.im/9Ppvf
This is probably the most important part. With texting, you can stop and think about what you want to say to your ex at each step of the way. Instead of reacting emotionally, you can take your time, figure out the right thing to say (I’ll give you most of it), and be strategic with your ex without saying something that you’ll regret.

take a look at his license in his wallet when he is out of the room or sleeping. You could ask his family as well. If he really made a point and told you NOT to do anything, I don't think I would push it because it could cause a bigger fight then its worth.

He's married and he's afraid that you'll do a back ground check with that info and find out!

i would let it go because maybe something bad happened on that day that he wants to forget. he'll tell you when he feels confident about it one day.

Check his teeth, you can tell a horse's age through its teeth.
