Not a chance, tons of people live with their parents who are older than you and don't have the excuse of a recent difficult break up.
Just keep to your limit and find yourself a new start. You'll feel better about yourself if you do.
Good luck in a hard time.

Looooser just kidding is perfectly acceptable to live with parents briefly after a bad break just don't tell any girls that you live with your parents nobody (no matter how cool your parents are) wants to have sex in a single bed in the childhood bedroom of a 26 yr old man with mom and pops just down the hall it kinda kills the mood so just make it a short stay sorry bout your luck and with any luck at all no one will even know you are at home again.

No, not at all. The only way you'll permanantly gain that title is if you stay home. You did right, you set a 6 month goal for yourself to regroup. Just make sure you stick to it.

As a parent whose daughter, son-in-law, and grandson, moved in with her for a year so they could save for a house, I can tell you that you will not only survive it, you will flourish, but lay down some grown-up ground rules, do your own laundry, clean your room, get a motel for anything you don't want your parents to hear you doing, don't bring drugs into their home. Offer to take them out to dinner regularly, do stuff for them, without being asked. Its easy to get into the dependent child routine if you act like one, and that's not good for anyone. In the present economy, many grown children move back for a while, the trick is to not move back in time to when you didn't have to assume responsibility for yourself.

no, not if you have a game plan and have taken the time to sit down with your parents and set up some good ground rules. Just keep to your 6 month rule and don't forget to help out at home a bit....

Not at all! Everyone goes through hard times. You do what you have to do to get back on your feet. Just remember to limit your self to that six months. Set goals and move on at the same time.

No. Not at all. Just make sure you get out. There's nothing more unattractive than a man who's in his 40's living with his parents.

not if you get back on your feet. you are just needing a place of residence to get the ground firm beneath you. if you get a place, then you are fine. esp. if it is only for 6 months. its not like you moved back in to find a place and are just going to stay there. you are just bunking with your rents til something else comes along.
you cant be the guy who lived with his parents, since you are just staying with them. you are not moving back in permenate like

No, you won't be branded at that as long as you have a plan and actually follow it.
Buy groceries for them on occasion and make your parents supper when you can (especially important if you aren't paying rent).
Good Luck!
