My boyfriend that i care about tremendously told me that i can't speak to one fo my best friends anymore and that he doesnt want me to go and hangout with her. He feels that she's a bad influence for em and that im a follower of her actions. She is one of my best friends so i cannot just stop chillen with her and he is a huge part of my life as well i love him. What do I do. I truely feel like yes me and her get into some trouble togethr, but I'm not following her I'm doing what i want. He is making me choose him or her and I'm in a jam now. What should I do.?

that is tricky .you need to put up a strong front with him and let him know it's not his job to be your dad. he needs to except that your a little bad sometimes and with or without her your still a person that makes up her own mind. don't let him decide this for you some of my best friends are a danger to society but they would die for me and i wouldn't give them up for anyone .now if you don't want to be her friend it still isn't his job to fix the situation. that still is your decision not his he needs to learn to be supportive and not a boss in the relationship. he doesn't need to like her but he does need to know that you make all your own choices not him and besides you picked him so your instincts can't be all wrong. good luck and keep up the good fight.

Wow that almost sounds like me and my bf...We had a fight last night about the same thing..... What we did is opened up with each other told each other how we felt...and i explained to him that she is one of my friends and yes we have done some bad things together but its not all her fault...And he explained to me that he just loves me and cares about me and doesn't want me getting hurt and thats why he was acting this way..I told him i would stop hanging out with her because our realtionship is so special and then he told me no thats not what he wants he just wants me to be safe...and he said he would try to accept her!!!
