My period is due in a few days and I've had swollen legs and feet for the past two weeks. I also have cramps any time I fold my legs or sit with my legs crossed. I've been experiencing these for some months now but don't know what to make of it. What could be wrong with me?

Dont break your head over it--it could be just some collection of fluid--consult the dr--he may give u some diruetics to wash away the system-the swelling could also be due to high blood pressure-get ur blood pressure checked--u may need to cut down on salt intake and fried or spicy stuff just till the swelling reduces--u may have to put up ur feet when sitting down for long periods-get a cushion and put it under ur feet on an extra chair near u-prop ur feet -at night as ur going to sleep--put a soft pillow under ur ankles-it will reduce the swelling and the pain and discomfort--gud luck

None of us on here have the right to tell you what is wrong! First all if you have had this for months then MAKE a DR apt asap. I don't mean to be mean but fevers and swelling are a part of something is wrong with your body. Swollen feet and hands are part of pregnancy but not early signs really if I were you i'd make a Dr apt as soon as possible.

Too much salt. Your body is retaining water, elevate your legs often, wear compression hose and I would suggest going to the doctor, it could result in or be because of a blood clot which is VERY dangerous. Are you pregnant? If so it's COMPLETELY normal. GOOD LUCK

You should see a doctor. Swollen legs can be a symptom of a lot of serious illnesses, from diabetes to high blood pressure.
