Go natural. Fruit juice, not soft drinks. Fruit or vegetables, not fast food. No fried food, or minimal. Keep up a good intake of protein. Don't smoke, its a total waste of money and health. I like coffee and tea, it gives me energy to exercise and they say caffeine helps the brain function better. Minimal drinking, if ever. Keep a positive attitude, get a sport--its good exercise and it gives you a positive focus outside of yourself. That can be anything--tennis, golf, dancing, running, volleyball, basketball, there are so many great choices. Keep up your studies, too. Have a great life!

Eat fish and chicken- broiled, baked or grilled. Eat fresh veggies and fruits as much as possible. Drink water- avoid caffeinated and sugary drinks. Cut down on your fat intake (butter, margarine, fried foods, chips, bacon, and the like.) Eat a lot of fiber- oatmeal, bran flakes, shredded wheat, whole grain breads (with 4 grams of fiber per slice.) You are smart to be concerned with this at a young age. If you get in the habit of eating healthy, you won't have to worry about getting fat!
