God is neither male or female. Spirits don't have genders, as they are entities. This includes angels.
If you think about it, even the first man was sexless. Only when Eve was taken out of Adam's rib did the concept of gender sex emerge.

LOL I dont have a problem with the thought of God being female, but it would be awfully untrue.
For one thing, God is not human.
God is Perfect, devoid of human desires of the flesh, weaknesses and all sorts of things that make a human human.
Looking at this in a humourous way, may I say that if God was female, she wouldnt create any males!! and she wouldnt give us females child labor or menopause either.
^^
Good day.

I believe god to be a spirit creature and therefor not in need of a gender. We have gender in order to reproduce. Sexual reproduction is unnecesary for God and for spirit creatures. God formed humans from dust, God didn't mate with anyone to get us here. We were created. So that is why I, even though religiously inclined, say neither.

God is not male, nor female, nor both, nor neither - it is we who add genders and images to suit our own preferences. It is easier for some to see God as Divine Mother than Divine Father or something else entirely. It is important to realize they are only images though...God is beyond conception.

Christians and Muslims believe God is male.
In some religions there are many Gods and Goddesses. So it all depends on the religious belief of a person.
In my case, I believe in the Goddess and the God. Although I admit that I do worship more the Goddess than the God.

A few months ago I asked a question here, whether or not God had genetalia, given that the Bible states that He fashioned man in His own image. The concensus was that yes, He does. It appears logical that God is male.

I believe God is way beyond gender. When I write I use the pronoun she just so there's no confusion with the Judeo-Christian view of God. 'It' seems a bit rude.
But God does not need a gender - there is no physical body, no need of being one or the other. God is beyond all of that.

The question is silly since spirits have no gender.
Confirm by reasoning, those angels who desired sex had to manifest a human body to do it with earthly women.
And the children they produced were giants.
They were called 'Fellers'
Those demons were called succubus, and incubus.
There is a lot more to this, but I will not go there.

G-d cannot be described in terms of male or female. If you insist on an answer beyond that he is both and neither.
