Exercise! A combination of aerobic exercise (anything from walking briskly to swimming...something that gets your heart rate up) and resistance training (weights, sit-ups, etc). Aerobic exercise will help you lose flab, while weight training will tone your muscles (for those nice abs). If you just do aerobic exercise, you'll lose fat but you won't have the toned look. If you just do resistance training, you might have great muscles but they'll still be buried beneath fat (for example, you can do 100 crunches a day, but that won't get you a flat stomach. You'll have great ab muscles, but you won't be able to see them).
I hope this helps! If you're not used to doing aerobic training, even brisk walking will help you. And I've also heard that Pilates are really good for toning. Good luck to you!

Exercise every day. It not only burns of the pounds but makes you feel good. Also, cut back on the carbs and sweet intake. And if you drink pop excessively, stop! My friend had at least four pops a day and she cut back to one every few days and she lost nine pounds in one week!
But as for getting tone:
Try to go to a gym or YMCA or something where machines are available. The elliptical can help work your thighs to make them toner. Squats are also an excellent way to tone your legs. For your abs try doing crunches and sit ups every day. There should be an ab machine at a gym. Those work great.

Ok. Firstly don't do anything stupid like stop eating. My best advice is to eat three healthy meals a day cuttting down on calories. Exercise for about 30 minutes everyday. Running or walking are really good for your legs. If you start now then you should have great results by the summer. You must put your mind to it though. Try doing as much exercise as you can.
Its the best advice i can give.

There is no magical diet plan off of the television that is going to make you lose weight, it just does not exist. You have to exercise. Running is most important, but just moving around and getting your heart rate going will help you. To help you with nice thighs maybe you should do some lunges, if you have access to a weight room do light weight workouts with lots of reps on parallel squats, hamstring curls, lunges, leg extensions, and more. Don't worry, you won't get bulky as long as you do lots of reps with low weight, you will put on lean muscle.

Buy a fitness ball. (I have one by Cory Everson). They usually come with a chart or video that target areas you wish to tone. They are inexpensive and I've found that they give you the best all around core workout. There are some great excercises for thighs (worked for me).
Also.. drastically decrease your carbohydrate intake (sugar, white flour, starches, pasta, potatoes, etc..... read the labels).

i have been doing weight watchers online. Its helped. I'm not overweight, i just need to tone and lose like 5 lbs, and its really helped me get on track. Also, just buy an exercise tape and work out at home for like 30 minutes a day.

work out really hard, make sure that you follow a strict diet and before you may consider to talk with a personal trainer to find the right type of training for your body and the diet that works with your metabolism.

Well, that depends.
If you're a 300 pounder, it ain't gonna happen by this summer.
That aside, it's all about diet and exercise..
