you either get the whitening strips, a toothpaste with peroxide or make your own paste. I take a little hydrogen peroxide and then baking soda and making it into a little paste. It doesnt taste great though. Its a lot easier and tastier to just buy the products.

i found that aquafresh's extreme clean with whitening works the best out of the toothpastes out there. There is also a mentadent mouthwash that is excellent for whitening I notice a small difference immediately after and a larger difference after about a week.

Mix it with equal amount water (50% of each) and rinse your mouth with it for one minute.

A few things though - I've heard that you shouldn't use hydrogen peroxide for more than about two weeks at a time. Also, be careful if you decide to mix it with baking soda to make a paste and brush your teeth with it - baking soda can be too abrasive and it can damage the enamel of the teeth if you do it too often.

I was always told too use like a mouth wash...before you brush and floss and again after wards.
DO NOT SWALLOW this tho! If used regular it does help...I have even heard baking soda also...just add a small amount of peroxide too the baking soda to make a paste and dip your tooth brush in and brush..yes ! it will bubble no big deal, again DO NOT SWALLOW, I've also HEARD that eating a APPLE with the SKIN on will help remove the tarter as of burnt black toast? I myself don't think the TASTE is real pleasant ....LUCK too ya!

You buy some of those strips that are sold in the store to use. Straight peroxide out of the bottle is too harsh to use without diluting it first.

Buy it at the drugstore.
And no, it's not too strong--it's only about ten percent solution in water..
