Sorry, no casinos in Thailand, in fact, it's against the law to play cards for money in the privacy of your home, and I have personally witnessed people being arrested for playing cards in their home. Nevertheless, it's still one of the Thai people's favourite pastimes. I think there are casinos in Maylasia, for sure in Macao, and soon in Singapore. They do have a lottery here, and race tracks (but I'm not sure if they use them anymore), and a lot of money changes hands at the Thai boxing matches. There could be "underground" casinos, but none that I know of personally. Good luck!

You are in Thailand and you want to go to a freaking casino?!?!? Thailand is the sex capital of the world. There are way better things to get into than a casino. But if you must, then just go to Bangkok. Everything you need will be there. Talk to the natives, and they will guide you. It is also wise to befriend a native, so you can get the best prices. The merchants overcharge visitors, so have them barter for you.

Good luck and have fun.
