I'm American (US) but my father is Argentine, so if I want, I can apply for my Argentine citizenship and be a dual US/Argentine Citizen. Apart from the novelty, I'm trying to find out if there are financial benefits to this. Would being an Argentine citizen benefit me if I decided to buy a property in Argentina? Would I be able to buy lower airfare? I know that the economy is pretty bad there and that there are some goverment policies that benefit citizens and not foreigners. Can anyone shed some light on this?

They have great places for sale.

I think as a foreigner it may be difficult to take out the profit element of the house if you decide to sale on a later date.
Good luck
