This is common where i come from...
Women here tend to be this way very much...
when people don't want to hurt other people they tend to go around the bush but not realizing it they hurt people more because they lied to them in the first place...
She should really learn to tell the truth as they come it would make the world a little bit more easier to understand especially for us men... ^_^

No, honesty is not overrated. A lot of people have trouble saying, "No", though. The only way to get used to saying no is to practice. Have her practice with you. Ask her to do something and tell her to say no. Do it often. She'll learn!
Of course, you should also have her ask you to do things and you say yes. You don't want to ruin a friendship!

I think she hates to hurt people's feelings, however, there will come a time when she will have to take a stand and i hope she will be ready to do that.

i see what you mean... for me, personally, it's really hard to tell people things that i know are going to hurt them. unfortunately, i learned the hard way that it's much better to be honest up front, than to hide your true feelings.

I do that too. I just feel like if I am nice about it, I won't hurt his feelings.

Duh! It's her life. You can't live for other people. She has to do what works for her, not satisfy you. If what she does bother you, find a new friend who lives according to your standards.
