According to the 14th amendment ....
"The following persons born in the United States are explicitly citizens:

Children born to US citizens;
Children born to aliens who are lawfully inside the United States (resident or visitor), with the intention of amicably interacting with its people and obeying its laws. "

This means any child born to an illegal is not a citizen..because the parents are not here lawfully.

this dates back to the days of slavery, when people were here against their will. This shouldn't effect people who come here willing illegally, meaning against the law.

I did not know that, it sure sounds like the babies born to illegals are just as illegal as their parents, unless one of the parents is legal, then the legal parent should be charged with aiding an illegal.

You can be a citizen if you are born here, so it is legal.
